Our History
The nucleus of Pegasus was created in 1987 as a small family business owned and operated by Peter and Gill Eason.
This family business was incorporated into a company, Peter Eason Survey & Mining Services Pty Ltd, in 1989 to provide a range of technical services to the Hunter Valley mining industry. This soon expanded to include the provision of relief labour.
In 1994 Steve Newman joined the business as a partner to help manage the projected growth of the business.
Since this time the business has evolved even further and now provides a range of safety, employment, training and technical services not only the mining industry in the Hunter Valley, but to mining operations elsewhere in Australia and the broader business community locally and nationally.
Pegasus now boasts clients in the mining, retailing, manufacturing, transport and construction industries.
