Pegasus Welcomes TransGrid to Utilities Solution

TransGrid operates and manages the high voltage electricity transmission network in NSW and the ACT. They are committed to protecting the health, welfare and safety of employees, contractors and the public through demonstrated leadership in health and safety.

As an essential service provider operating in a high risk environment, contractors working for TransGrid will now register and maintain their compliance in an online Worker Safety, Authorisation and Training (WSAT) system.

That involves providing information about the type, scope and frequency of work their business does for TransGrid, and uploading documents for Pegasus safety specialists to verify. Registering workers means selecting the role they perform for TransGrid, uploading their qualifications and competencies (licences, tickets), and booking online inductions which workers complete before attending site.
