Originally established in 2012 and relaunched in 2019, Rail Safety Worker is the Pegasus rail industry solution which complies with Rail Safety National Law.
Rail Safety Worker cardholders are qualified and competent to work safely on the rail corridor.
They have provided the information required – selecting roles, uploading competency documents, and completing online inductions – to prove their skills to the strict project and site standards set by our partners. Site access is only granted to valid cardholders via mobile and fixed solutions.
Rail Safety Worker is now available for those working on behalf of the below operators, principal contractors, and/or projects and sites:
• Aurizon: network
• Transport for NSW: Sydney Trains, Sydney Metro/Northwest Rapid Transit, NSW Trains, Martin Place Metro, Sydney Sydenham Junction, New Intercity Fleet (NIF), Central Station, Edgecliff TAP Upgrade, Transport Access Projects, Jane Street & Mulgoa Road Upgrade, Rooty Hill Station
• John Holland: New Intercity Fleet Maintenance Facility, Mt Victoria, Sydney Sydenham Junction
• Lendlease: Gawler Rail Electrification project, Southern Program Alliance, Ballarat Line Upgrade
