There is insight in the robust data in our client’s Pegasus solutions – about contracting companies, workers, and sites.

And right now – during COVID-19 – there is a greater need to understand, report, and respond to that information; to find the connections and manage risk on site.

Our Developers, e-Learning Specialists, and Data Analytics teams have been thinking outside the box to help our clients trace the potential risk.

Here are just a couple of ways our tech is helping.

COVID-19 Workforce Mapping

A new module of Analytics in the Pegasus Client Portal gives users visibility into the potential COVID-19 risk on site.

When Pegasus client, Visy, had to provide a COVID-19 Management Plan to local authorities, R & M Manager Grant Crosley turned to Pegasus to create a new module to show how that risk was being managed.

Using the comprehensive data in the Pegasus solution, Grant and the Visy team can now:

  • Review a complete COVID-19 heat map, showing where workers live and which hotspots they are coming from
  • Have the information from their Client Portal matched to government data
  • Filter the data in the heat map by:

• worker
• company
• crew
• state
• suburb

The COVID-19 Workforce Mapping module empowers Grant and Visy to take action to manage risk on site with real-time data to support their organisational response – whether that be temperature and other health checks, or liaising with contractors about which workers cannot attend site because they live in a hotspot.

Using the module in Analytics, Visy has proven to authorities and the community that the COVID-19 risk is being managed on its sites.

Digital Records of Who is On Site

One of the best ways to support COVID-19 contact tracing is having workers and visitors complete a special self-service induction as they sign-in via your site access solution.

The Pegasus e-Learning team has created special “COVID-19 Inductions” for our clients to trace who is on site via a digital sign-in.

So far, they have configured inductions for Pegasus clients including Idemitsu, Laing O’Rourke – Central Station, Laminex, Lendlease, McConnell Dowell, Peabody, TransGrid and Whitehaven Coal.

Answering ‘YES’ to any question denies the person access to site.

Logging out of the site access kiosk or tablet at the end of a shift or visit means an accurate record is also kept of a person’s time on site.

This new online induction links directly to the Pegasus platform, where our clients can trace and report on every person – and how much time they spent – on site for a precise digital record.
